Modeling of an electromagnetic actuator

This video explains the modeling of an electromagnetic actuator. The goal is to determine the required size of actuators in a mechatronic system. The software used to perform the simulation is Simscape. The model is first created in simulink where the circuit and circuit components are defined. The simulation is then graphically viewed in simscape. The results are then used to find the size of the actuator required for this system.
